Objective

For the 2024 Adelaide Film Festival, our team took on the challenge of creating a captivating trailer, aligned with the festival’s theme, See In The Dark. This involved editing 29 unique film trailers to showcase the depth and diversity of this year’s lineup.

Problems

Crafting a seamless story out of 29 different trailers that will captivate and evoke emotion in the 2024 Adelaide Film Festival attendees.

Process

Viewing the trailers multiple times to determine the ‘best bits’ this is how the skeleton of the edit was made. From there we worked with AFF to piece together the in-between.

Outcomes

The final product is a dynamic and immersive trailer, inviting audiences to experience the cinematic journey of the 2024 Adelaide Film Festival.

  • At the heart of the campaign is the main hero trailer, offering a captivating glimpse into the works featured in this year’s festival. It also shines a spotlight on the festival’s theme: See In The Dark.
  • Deliverables were crafted at various lengths, tailored for social media, websites, and other advertising platforms to maximise reach and engagement.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Stepney Studios on our Adelaide Film Festival Investment Fund showreel and 2024 festival trailer. Their commitment, passion and attention to detail is top-notch. I love the energy and creativity they brought to the projects, and it was exciting to see the edits screen in cinemas across Adelaide — to our biggest audiences yet.
